Shipping & returns

How and when your books reach you, and what to do if something is wrong.

Shipping

Our printed books are printed to order for you and sent by tracked delivery, usually within one to two weeks. Shipping is calculated for your address at checkout, before you pay, and you will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel ships. You can follow your order at any time under Track an order.

If your order has not arrived within 30 days, write to us with your order reference: we will trace it and, if it is lost, send it again or refund you in full.

Customs and import duties

Our primary fulfilment zones are the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. International orders shipping outside our primary fulfilment zones may be subject to local import duties and taxes upon arrival, which are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are set by the destination country, not by us, and vary from country to country; your local customs office can tell you more.

Damaged or misprinted books

If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, or has a fault, write to us with your order reference and a photo, and we will send a replacement or a full refund, as you prefer, including any shipping you paid. There is no need to send it back unless we ask, and if we do, we pay for it. The legal guarantee covers faults that show within three years of delivery.

Changed your mind?

You can cancel an order of printed books for any reason within 14 days of receiving them, and return them for a refund: see our Right of withdrawal, which has a form you can use. Please return the books unread and in the condition you received them. You pay the cost of sending them back.

Ebooks

Our ebooks are downloads, as EPUB and PDF: they are ready as soon as your payment is confirmed, on your order page (and by email). There is nothing to ship. If a file is faulty or will not open, tell us and we will fix it or refund you. Because an ebook is delivered at once, the right to cancel ends when its download starts, as you agree at checkout.
